An online platform that provides resources, opportunities, and mentoring to MSMEs to help them bounce back from the pandemic
While there are organic initiatives that sprung up to help MSMEs to bounce back from the pandemic, there is no unified hub for all these initiatives. The Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation tapped us to design SIKAP, or Synergizing Recovery Initiatives, Knowledge, and Adaptation Practices, an online COVID-19 business recovery hub.
It equipped micro, small, and medium businesses in the Philippines with the right information on how to adapt their operations amidst the pandemic, such as funding opportunities and project ideas.
Since the soft launch, SIKAP has created an MSME Qchecker where businesses can check if they can operate during the quarantine, and other features that are beneficial to entrepreneurs.
We reached out to MSME entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic and conducted our empathy work.
We then designed our site's information architecture, content and design strategy, design systems, and wireframes.
We soft-launched the website (www.sikap.com.ph), followed by the creation of an MSME Qchecker where businesses can check if they can operate during the quarantine and other features that are beneficial to entrepreneurs.
